About the Artist
My interests have always been in children and in creating art. For the first fourteen years of
my career I taught art in elementary and middle schools. Then I found a way to bring the
world of art to children across the United States and beyond by developing an art program
for a major K-12 educational company specializing in e-learning.
While teaching and developing art curriculum, I created watercolor paintings as a hobby.
When my husband and I were blessed with our first baby, I adorned the nursery walls with
watercolors. Inspired by the idea of making art for children, I created a line of art prints for
nurseries and kids' rooms.
