About the Artist
Nancy's interests have always been in children and in creating art. For the first fourteen
years of her career she taught art in elementary and middle schools. Then she found a way
to bring the world of art to children across the United States and beyond by developing an
art program for a major K-12 educational company specializing in e-learning.
While teaching and developing art curriculum, Nancy created watercolor paintings as a
hobby. She made paintings to decorate her home and as gifts to friends and family. When
she and her husband were blessed with a baby, she adorned the nursery walls with
watercolors. Inspired by the idea of making art for children, she decided to pursue painting
as a career.
