The Good Shepherd. From the Biblical scripture John 10:14 (I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and
my sheep know me.), Jesus carries a sheep over his shoulders.
Guardian Angel. A Baroque-style angel holds a baby, based upon a hymn by Isaac Watts written in the
1700s (Hush, my dear, lie still and slumber, holy angels guard thy bed. Heavenly blessings without number
gently falling on they head.).
Pure In Heart. From the scripture Matthew 5:8 (Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.), a
baby lies on a pillow, cuddled beneath a blanket.
Plans For You. From the scripture Jeremiah 29:11 (For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord,
plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.), four children sit upon the
hand of Christ. The multi-racial scene includes two boys and two girls and depicts the African American,
Caucasian, Hispanic, and Asian heritage.
